FAQs

Q1: What can I do when my TikTok feed isn't displaying on my store?

Here are a few possible reasons:

  • App status: Check if the app is activated in the Embed app section. If it’s deactivated, activate the app.
  • Feed status: Verify the feed's status at Manage feed. If inactive, set the feed status to active.
  • Account connection: If you’ve changed your TikTok account, the old feeds may no longer display. Reconnect your previous TikTok account to show those feeds.

Q2: Can I customize the TikTok feed display on my store?

Yes, you can customize layouts, text, columns, rows, colors,...to match your design when creating feeds. You can also contact us for custom CSS.

Q3: Is the TikTok feed app compatible with all Shopify themes?

The app works with most themes, such as Theme OS 1.0, 2.0, and Vintage. For highly customized or older themes, contact us for compatibility support.

Q4: How often does the TikTok feed update with new videos/posts?

The feed syncs automatically after you post on TikTok. Go to Preferences > Sync data > Auto sync to set the schedule.

Q5: Can I show the feed on specific pages or just the homepage?

Yes, you can place the feed anywhere by selecting a page on your theme, clicking Add block, and entering the feed ID. If the feed doesn’t appear, contact us for assistance. Please see Shopify's guide here.

Q6: How do I display multiple feeds from different TikTok accounts?

Currently, the app allows connecting to one TikTok account only. In case you want to synchronize data from another TikTok account, you can change the account in Preferences. Besides, you can create unlimited feeds to display on the storefront.

Q7: Which permission type does the app require?

Our TikTok Feed app requires reading and writing permissions on your theme. Also, TikTok requires permission to edit the Online Store and customize the theme.

Q8: How can I get and add a feed ID to the theme?

Each feed has a unique ID, which you can find after creating a feed or by going to Manage Feed. To add multiple feeds to a page, click Add section and paste the feed ID you want.
